MEET our FOUNDER

Hey, I'm Erika!

I've always had a love for taking complicated ideas and making them fit the audience. When I decided to go out on my own and help businesses, I KNEW I wanted to focus on my friends in the trades. Some of the hardest working folks I know. But often the initial leap to self employment was born from frustration and sheer optomism.

Super exciting! But Building a good buisiness that can support you long-term is much like building a house ... taking time to build a solid foundation saves time, and money in the longer term.

It often doesn't need to be complicated, it just needs to work. A start in the right direction may not turn everything around, but if you lean into it you CAN

Things I consider in my Trainings

Trades often are challenged to find the time

Hands-on people are often not inspired by traditional education

If you're struggling for cash ... quick easy and economical is the way to go/

Reimagining the landscape of business basics

by using construction based lingo and the language of life

For the self employed in the skilled trades that can't see their way to retirement,

WE ... SEE ... YOU!

You are more than the tools you wield, and you can learn about a better way to manage your business. Earn more, without working any more hours. Learn the art of relationships, helping you avoid selling and simply be the the solution provider for your customers needs. It doesn't need to be complicated ... it just needs to work.

Why would you get advice from this middle aged lady??

I get it! But I do have over 20+ years of experience in and around the industry. Heck, I was married to it, (key-word being "was" ) So I've learned a few things. I'm also no dummy, a degree in engineering and an aptitude for translating technical things into plain speak has always been my jam.

Seriously though, I've learned a lot with my stints in large international corporations, mid sized operations, Not for Profits, AND small family run business's. I've have worn nearly every hat from Sales and Marketing, Bookkeeping, HR, General Labourer, Gardener and Project Management. So my boots are worn, and my suits feel unnecessary, but still fit.

But that's not what makes me tick. I love to learn, and I thrive when I can help someone understand something that seemed too darn complicated. Did you know buying software is like buying a cordless tool? I realized it's the same thought process, and I ask myself the same questions. That's how we help you understand things, and remember them.

I speak your language.

Not a tool buff ....... no worries! Did you know a generic brand of cottage cheese inspired 2 business lessons? It might sound crazy, but everyone has the ability to improve their business knowledge, we just need to speak the same language.
